ACC’s Strategic Plan is a comprehensive plan that sets the agenda for the next three to five years as we build upon our work to achieve equity in higher education. The Strategic Plan Dashboards will help track the College’s achievement in reaching the following goals:

  • Goal 1 – Increase annual enrollment to 85,000 students by 2030
  • Goal 2 – Increase fall persistence rates to 58% for fall 2029 cohort
  • Goal 3 – Award 15,000 credentials to ACC students in academic year 2030

Daily Registration Dashboard – Undergraduate

Generated daily during registration and posted weekly. Displays current headcount, contact hours, and credit hours by college-wide totals as well as by campus location and Dean area.

Fast Track Programs – Tracking Dashboard

A FastTrack Career Program provides students a path to earn short-term workforce credentials with labor market value in less than one year. This dashboard tracks information on Fast Track programs such as student headcount and completion. Future features will include persistence and post-completion outcomes (employment, wage improvement, etc.)

Instructional Planning Survey Dashboard

ACC administers the Instructional Planning Survey annually to undergraduate credit and continuing education students. The dashboard reports which factors students indicate are most important when enrolling in courses, the registration experience, and student preferences for different types of courses for the next academic year. The undergraduate student dashboard allows for disaggregation by student characteristics, the continuing education dashboard reports results overall, and the department and major detail dashboard allows users to see results at the AOS, department, and declared major level.

Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C.§ 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education. In accordance with FERPA, researchers need to be extremely cautious about releasing data that could lead to the identification of individual students, particularly when related to financial or performance data. Per OIRA guidelines, tables produced from TIPS intended for presentations or any other public release should have small cell sizes (N < 5) suppressed. By using the Austin Community College Information Portal (TIPS), you are agreeing to the FERPA statement above.
