Free Tuition is part of the full-time enrollment pillar in the Theory of Change. This dashboard compares the fall Free Tuition Cohort against previous service area direct-to-college (DTC) cohorts. The Grade Distribution Dashboard shows the grade distribution for students enrolled at ACC for the past few years. The information can be drilled down by Dean, Department, Course, various course related parameters (e.g., course modality, location, etc.), student demographic information, and other student characteristics (e.g. full-time/part-time, student type, etc.)

This dashboard is updated after each Fall and Spring term. It can be used to track withdrawal behavior for the eight courses with highest enrollment and highest withdrawal rates, and those in focus for the ‘Change Initiatives Leadership Academy’ (CILA) program.

This dashboard shows ACC Estimates of House Bill 8 performance-based funding outcomes based on ACC student data alongside Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) forecasts. It allows for program-specific breakdowns for awards and school-specific breakdowns for transfer and dual-credit outcomes. The dashboard will be updated each fall.

ACC administers the Instructional Planning Survey annually to undergraduate credit and continuing education students. The dashboard reports which factors students indicate are most important when enrolling in courses, the registration experience, and student preferences for different types of courses for the next academic year. The undergraduate student dashboard allows for disaggregation by student characteristics, the continuing education dashboard reports results overall, and the department and major detail dashboard allows users to see results at the AOS, department, and declared major level.

The Post Completion Outcomes Dashboard includes a series of dashboards that report program completers’ employment status, wage improvement, and estimated median wages. The dashboards report results which are aggregated for completers by program and award.

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C.§ 1232g; 34 CFR Part 99) is a Federal law that protects the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education. In accordance with FERPA, researchers need to be extremely cautious about releasing data that could lead to the identification of individual students, particularly when related to financial or performance data. Per OIRA guidelines, tables produced from TIPS intended for presentations or any other public release should have small cell sizes (N < 5) suppressed. By using the Austin Community College Information Portal (TIPS), you are agreeing to the FERPA statement above.
