ACC is on an ambitious journey to achieve its North Star Goal of a 70% completion rate by 2030. To make this goal a reality, we’re focusing on removing barriers to success by leveraging valuable insights from our students, employees, and community. Our approach is rooted in a comprehensive Theory of Change, which is built around four key pillars: helping students start strong, encouraging full-time enrollment, supporting basic needs, and fostering a sense of belonging and connection.

In this online asynchronous course, participants learn about the Theory of Change, the ACC North Star, the strategies behind each pillar, the data that support the pillars, and resources available to our community to support student success. There are a total of six learning modules to complete with an estimated 6 hours to finish the entire course.

After completing this course, participants will be able to: describe a theory of change; define the ACC North Star; list the different pillars of the ACC Theory of Change; list at least 2 strategies within each pillar and understand the data behind each; and speak generally about resources available to the ACC community (i.e., ToC website, OIRA website, etc.).
